Baraboo, Wisc.’s previous claims to fame have been as the birthplace/onetime operational base of the Ringling Brothers Circus (and other similar outfits, leading to its nickname, Circus City) and as the hometown of Bradbury Robinson, who threw the first legal forward pass in American football in 1906.
