If you missed Cincinnati’s legendary Psychodots (pictured) last Thanksgiving, you have another chance to see them Thursday, this time with hot string ensemble Faux Frenchmen at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens’ “Tunes & Blooms” concert series.

Power Pop guitarist Rob Fetters, bassist Bob Nyswonger and drummer Chris Arduser — all formerly of The Raisins and The Bears — take the ‘dots to the zoo to celebrate the spectacular array of 1 million flowering bulbs, shrubs and trees at the zoo’s botanical gardens. The gypsy jazz Faux Frenchmen — acoustic guitarists Brian Lovely and George Cunningham, acoustic bassist Don Aren and violinist Paul Patterson — whose latest CD was a recent contender for the CEA “Album of the Year” award, also perform.

Admission is free admission; parking is $7. The final "Tunes & Blooms" show is next Thursday (The Turkeys and Jake Speed & the Freddies). Get show details and Sound Advice here.
