Robyn Hitchcock, the British singer/songwriter whose intimately resonant, raspy voice and mysteriously peculiar worldview were shaped by such skewed troubadours of his youth as Nick Drake, Syd Barrett and the Incredible String Band, plays Southgate House Revival in a show rescheduled from February when he couldn’t get here due to inclement weather. It will be an intimately solo and acoustic concert featuring material from last year’s album, The Man Upstairs, itself an acoustic mix of original compositions and covers of such songs as Psychedelic Furs’ “The Ghost in You,” Roxy Music’s “To Turn You On,” The Doors’ “The Crystal Ship” and others. Emma Swift opens.

8 p.m. Wednesday. $20 advance; $25 door. Southgate House Revival, 111 E. Sixth St., Newport, Ky., southgatehouse.com.
