Spinning a compelling web of Americana influences (Blues, Rock & Roll, Folk, Country, etc.) into its own soulful, Garage-y style, Nashville duo Smooth Hound Smith sounds like what would happen if you boiled the best things about The Black Keys and Kings of Leon down to their essence, stripped out the over-production, added some impassioned female vocals and wrapped it all in a swaggering Country/Soul bow.

Featuring singer/guitarist/harmonica-ist/“foot drummer” Zack Smith and singer/percussionist Caitlin Doyle, Smooth Hound Smith has drawn raves around the country (and sometimes the world) for riveting live shows and a 2013 self-titled debut album (which you can listen to/buy at smoothhoundsmith.bandcamp.com).
