Stanley’s Pub (323 Stanley Ave., Columbia-Tusculum) has been one of the best and most-enduring clubs in the area for original music, with bookings that range from local and regional faves and up-and-comers to national touring acts. This Friday and Saturday, the club presents its ninth annual Summer Music Festival with a lineup that showcases the kind of music they do best. Friday, the fest has Ekoostik Hookah’s Dave Katz and friends, plus locals The Skeetones, Headband and The Manifest Station, for a night of trippy, eclectic Jam grooves. Saturday’s headliner is Ugly Radio Rebellion, a Detroit-based crew that plays the music of Frank Zappa (featuring Zappa sideman Ike Willis). Jerry's Little Band, Fairbanks 142 and members of The Spookfloaters round out Saturday’s bill. Music starts at 5 p.m. both days and tickets are $15 per day (or $25 for a two-day pass).
