Riverbend Music Center — which is having one of the best-selling seasons in its 29-year history — presents one of its most unique concerts of the summer Tuesday as the venue’s PNC Pavilion welcomes The Goat Rodeo Sessions (GRS) in for a Classical/Bluegrass extravaganza.

The group features modern Classical music legend Yo-Yo Ma, Chris Thile (Nickel Creek, The Punch Brothers), Newgrass/Classical bassist Edgar Meyer and Bluegrass fiddler Stuart Duncan — their 2011 album reflected and meshed those diverse influences and experiences perfectly. Earlier this year, GRS’s self-titled debut scored a pair of Grammy awards for “Best Folk Album” and “Best Engineered” album.

8 p.m. $49.50-$69.50. PNC Pavilion, 6295 Kellogg Ave., California, riverbend.org
