Contrary to any implications of temperance or a mild-mannered Friday night, The Prohibitionists are commissioned to lay down their debut EP at Northside Tavern this week, providing the always-thirsty masses with a soundtrack certain to guide them down the long, rugged Trail of Beers. Featuring songs like “No Love” and “All Tied Up,” The Prohibitionists’ EP showcases their knack for Blues-inspired, spirit-shaking tunes embodied by the fuel that feeds every Rock & Roll fire. The EP will be available for free, although the band welcomes any loose change or bills as a donation for their efforts. The Prohibitionists share the stage with The Love Dimension (Psychedelic Garage Rock hailing from San Francisco) and local favorite Super Stupid. The free show begins at 9 p.m. Friday.
