Ohio Music Blogs Release Holiday Album

Two music blogs based in Ohio — Cincinnati's own Each Note Secure and Columbus-based Donewaiting.com — have joined forces to put the spotlight on Ohio music, spread some holiday cheer and raise some money for a good cause. The digital-only A Very Ohio Christmas compilation features newly written holiday tunes as well as traditional (and a few obscure) ones performed by bands from across the Buckeye State, including plenty of Cincinnati area acts.—-

All of the money raised via download sales goes to the Gracehaven organization, which provides help for minors being abused in domestic sex trafficking and strives to raise awareness about the issue. Find more about the org here.

The comp's Cincinnati contributions include tracks from The Guitars, The Chocolate Horse, No No Knots and You, You're Awesome (YYA's contribution, "Cinnamon Snow," can be heard here). To grab a copy, head to the album's Bandcamp site here. The price is $10, but, in a noble reverse In Rainbows move, you can also pay more (as much as you 'd like) to support the cause. Don't be a Scrooge!
