The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra returns to Forest Park for its twentieth annual outdoor summer concert. Maestro Erich Kunzel and his orchestra, joined by tenor Daniel Maimone, will perform Classical favorites from composers Berlioz, Tchaikovsky, Donizetti and Bernstein. Does Classical music put you to sleep? The Pops Orchestra will also belt out some patriotic tunes, Italian numbers and even songs from Star Trek. Come early and bring the kids to check out internationally-known local magician Matthew Brian Taylor, who will take the stage at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnics, but no booze or four-legged friends. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from vendors on the lawn. 7:30 p.m. Friday. Get venue details here.
