Thanks to a 1966 animated TV special, Dr. Seuss’ 1957 story about the mean-spirited Grinch’s efforts to ruin the holiday celebrations in Whoville has become a beloved tale.
Despite his dastardly thievery of decorations and gifts, the Grinch — a cousin of Scrooge, to be sure — discovers the true meaning of Christmas. After two consecutive years as a holiday hit on Broadway, the show is touring across America, with a stop at the Aronoff for Thanksgiving weekend. Maybe your heart will grow a size or two.
Through Dec. 1. $28-$88. Aronoff Center for the Arts, 650 Walnut St., Downtown, 513-621-2787, cincinnatiarts.org.
