Who knew the End of Days could be so much fun? Untethered Theatre is offering its first 2014 production, the regional premiere of up-and-coming playwright Samuel Brett Williams’ dark comedy Revelation.

It’s about a pair of lovers who find the Rapture coming a little too close to home. Brandon is a Southern Baptist; Rebecca is a pre-med atheist. Together they travel from New York City to Arkansas in search of the New Jerusalem — all within the intimate confines of the Clifton Performance Theatre.

The cast of four is directed by theater veteran Kevin Crowley.

8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Through Feb. 8. $20. Clifton Performance Theatre, 404 Ludlow Ave., Clifton, 513-939-0599, untetheredtheater.com.
