One of the highlights of the 2011 Fringe Festival was an evening produced by the David Levy and Jeff Groh, who mastermind the quarterly “True Theatre.” For “True Fringe,” they recruited Fringe artists to talk about real moments from their lives, and the results were entertaining and insightful. “True Fringe” is back for another year with five performers sharing deeply personal stories offering behind-the-scenes looks at life in and around the world of Fringe theater: Sadie Bowman (co-anchor of the nightly “action news update”), Tommy Nugent (American Badass), Kevin Holladay (Where Is My Mind?), Kevin J. Thornton (Strange Dreamz) and Justin Baldwin (Quake). Each one knows his or her way around a good story. This one-night-only, 90-minute event (starting at 7 p.m.) happens at Know Theatre’s Underground Bar. Stop by the theater’s box office to pick up a ticket in advance. Friday, June 8. $12. Know Theatre, 1120 Jackson St., Over-the-Rhine.
