The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra breathes new life into the hits of the 1960s with Fun Fun Fun, which features what they call “Pop music without the whining.” The outdoor concert features adaptations of music by Tom Jones, The Turtles, The Beatles, The Monkees and The Fifth Dimension.

Part of the KSO’s mission is to make Classical music more accessible by entwining it in a particular thematic context. Other performances have combined Classical music with silent film, zoo animals and Civil War re-enactments.

The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Devou Park Amphitheatre in Covington's Devou Park. Free admission and parking (suggested donation $5). Concessions available. Free TANK Shuttle from Covington Catholic to the bandshell beginning at 6 p.m.
