A popular floating restaurant and marina on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River has been damaged after it was struck by a barge, authorities say.
Public safety officials confirmed that the barge struck the Ludlow Bromley Yacht Club at about 6 a.m. today, causing significant damage and sending six nearby boats and part of the marina adrift on the river.
One person was reportedly on a boat in the marina at the time of impact but was not injured. No other injuries have been reported.
Ludlow Fire and Police personnel, Cincinnati Fire Department personnel, Kenton County Department of Homeland Security officials and the U.S. Coast Guard have all responded to the incident.
