Second Case of Coronavirus Confirmed in Hamilton County

The county's second confirmed COVID-19 case is a man in his 60s who is currently hospitalized

Hamilton County Public Health has announced a second confirmed COVID-19 case in Hamilton County this afternoon.

According to a press release, the patient is a man in his 60s who is currently hospitalized. No further information regarding the patient was released in respect to his privacy.

Earlier today, Hamilton County Public Health announced the county's first confirmed COVID-19 case in a press conference, a New York resident in her 20s who is visiting her family in Cincinnati. 

Interim Hamilton County Health Commissioner Greg Kesterman explained that the first patient is doing "remarkably well" and the family has quarantined themselves and taken all necessary precautions in order to ensure the containment of the virus. The patient will continue to be quarantined for another 14 days.
