Star Wars Night

Not long ago in our very own galaxy, the Cincinnati Rollergirls unsheathed their lightsabers and hosted their first-ever Star Wars night. The force returns to the team this weekend during a very otherworldly home game against the Naptown Roller Girls Warning Belles and Naptown Tornado Sirens. The CRG’s Second-Annual Star Wars Night features appearances by special guests the Midwest R2 Builders Club — droid constructers from Ohio, Michigan and Indiana — and the 501st Legion’s Ohio Garrison, a group for Star Wars costume enthusiasts. The first 500 guests to arrive will receive their very own lightsaber. Costume contest at halftime.

5 p.m. Saturday. $14 adults; $6 children 7-12; free under 6. Cincinnati Gardens, 2250 Seymour Ave., Norwood, cincinnatirollergirls.com
