Whether you walk, run or come just to squeal, the biggest party in town this weekend is at the 12th Annual Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon. Nowhere else can you sport a pink porcine nose or full pig regalia with so much fanfare.

Billed as a marathon for people of all abilities, the Pig attracts about 22,000 racers and 150,000 fans over the weekend. Saturday events include 5k and 10k walk/run races, a one-mile kids’ marathon and the Piglet Kids’ Fun Run. On Sunday, the wheelchair race starts at 6:25 a.m. At 6:30, 13,000 marathon runners and walkers will take to the streets and make their way toward the aptly named Finish Swine.

With 25 entertainment acts and support stations lining the city streets, there’s hog-wild entertainment at every mile marker. Runner’s World calls the Cincinnati Flying Pig one of the most fun races in the country. Ham it up and find out why.
