If you're still working on your checklist of holiday shows, there have been several added performances for shows at Know Theatre, Ensemble Theatre and other venues you should keep in mind.—-
Know Theatre's production of A Wrinkle in Time (review here) has plugged in two more performances to its originally announced schedule. The first is a 3 p.m. matinee this Saturday; the other is also a matinee on Sunday, Dec. 26 (the final performance of the run).
At Ensemble Theatre, Cinderella (review here) has become the best-selling holiday show ever, and that will be ramped up even more with the addition of 2 p.m. matinees next week on Dec. 22 and 23. (The production closes on Dec. 31.)
At Arnold's Bar & Grill, the production of Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company (pictured above, details here) has been selling very well, too. A special performance has been added for New Year's Eve, not at Arnold's but on the company's Race Street stage. If you plan to catch this one, you should call now for tickets (513-281-2273) since it's sure to be a sell-out.
One more note on a related topic: If you haven't seen Second City Does Cincinnati: Pride and Porkopolis at the Cincinnati Playhouse (review here), your chances have improved with the satirical production's second extension. It's now running until Jan. 16. It started back in mid-November and has been attracting strong audiences throughout the holiday season.
