Yes, even beyond the huge chunk of shows already posted today, there are more solid musical options for tonight. Popular Reggae/Rock crew The Ohms are set to unleash Press On, the local group's second official album. The band wants you to come celebrate with them tonight at MVP Sports Bar & Grille in Silverton, former home to Play By Play (which The Ohms played frequently) and, before that, Metal hangout Never on Sunday.
The band promises special guests onstage as well as some unheard material not even on the new album. They'll also be filming and recording audio at the event. Oh, and they'll have Press On shirts, stickers, lighters and more!
The party goes down at 10 p.m., starting with Folk/Rock openers Drew LaPlante & The Prosperity. The event is open to those 18-and-up. Pay a $10 cover and get the disc plus entry; just to get in, it's $5.
The Ohms have been stingy with the new material so far, but click here for a live version of Press On track "Voices" and enjoy a cool clip from the band's last album for the catchy single, "Pipe Down."
