Ohioans wanting COVID-19 vaccines from the University of Cincinnati are heading to a new location beginning Tuesday.

UC Health's community vaccinations are moving from the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute on Bellevue Avenue to the UC Health West Professional Building at 3120 Burnet Avenue on May 25.

The Community Vaccination Center originally opened in January to provide drive-through vaccinations. The location now will be used for patient parking, a news release says.

“We are proud to have provided more than 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to employees and community members since mid-December,” Dr. Dustin J. Calhoun, medical director of emergency management for UC Health and associate professor of emergency medicine at the UC College of Medicine, says in a release. “This change will allow us to better serve our patients while continuing to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to every individual who wants one.”

UC Health offers the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine, which is a two-dose series that can be administered to people ages 12 and older, three days out of the week. The single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine is available once weekly.

UC Health's vaccine schedule:

Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Pfizer vaccine only)

Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (Johnson & Johnson vaccine only)

Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (Pfizer vaccine only)

Saturday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Pfizer vaccine only)

Vaccinations will NOT be available on Saturday, May 29, or Wednesday, June 30.

Appointments are encouraged but not required. Visit UC Health's vaccine website for more information.
