WATCH: New Music Video from The National

Apr 5, 2011 at 3:21 pm

Locally-bred Indie sensations The National posted a new music video on YouTube for "Think You Can Wait," the band's contribution to the soundtrack for the well-received film Win Win. It's a cool, moody tune from the band and the footage of the group members performing is excellent. But, while we understand why the clip is full of snippets from the film, for some reason the director includes bloopers from Win Win and very annoying, disruptive audio from the film, as well. See for yourself below.  —-

Collaborator Sharon Van Etten appears alongside the band in the video; she'll also be opening for The National at Music Hall on May 15, the closing night of the MusicNOW festival. Tickets are still available for The National show here (though the "best available" pair of seats I came up with were in the balcony, so act fast if you're hoping to attend). Tickets for the MusicNOW shows May 13 and 14 at Memorial Hall are general admission and available here.
