Yikes: Car Runs off of Downtown Interstate Ramp, Goes up in Flames

The driver reportedly was taken to a local hospital and miraculously only sustained minor injuries.

The I-471 Interchange in downtown Cincinnati

Well, this isn't something you see every day.

A car reportedly burst into flames on Monday after careening off the interstate in downtown Cincinnati.

The vehicle was traveling northbound on I-471. On the exit ramp to Columbia Parkway, the car flew off the road and hurled down to Monastery Street, WKRC-TV reports. The car then caught fire.

Cincinnati Police Department officials responded to the scene and later said that the driver was taken to a local hospital and had only minor injuries, WLWT-TV added. The crash's cause is still unknown.
