Splinter
Age: 12 Years / Breed: Yorkshire Terrier and Chihuahua Mix / Sex: Male / Rescue: PawPrints Animal Rescue
    "Hey, Splinter here!
You are most probably wondering why a handsome 12 year old (estimated by our vet) guy like me is looking for a home. Well, here's my story. I came into the shelter after a really rough life, my owner did not have me neutered, my teeth were in horrible shape, my nails were super long, my skin was so itchy from flea bites that I scratched ALL the time, my tail bone was broken and I'd been shot with a BB. Whew! The worst part is I was dehydrated and emaciated
I was so happy when PawPrints Animal Rescue took me in and found a foster home for me and Boy has my life changed! Currently I live with my foster mom and her four senior dogs and let me tell you, Life is good! I've been neutered, had a dental and my itchy skin is healing nicely and now I'm ready to find a family of my own.
I don't think I'd do well with young children or with high energy dogs because I have a sore back and the little ones and rambunctious dogs may unintentionally knock into me so I'm looking for someone who can be gentle with me. I love to cuddle but my forever family would have to make sure to lift me on and off the couch so I don't make my back sore again but don't worry, I weigh less than 6 pounds so lifting me would be a breeze! I know I'd make a great companion for an older person who's looking for an adorable lap dog!"

Renaissance
Age: Adult / Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Sex: Female / Rescue: Stray Animal Adoption Program
“Renaissance (or 'Reni' as her friends call her) has given birth to her last litter of pups and is ready to reinvent herself! She is an enthusiastic player, preferring rough and tumble play with a dog her size, so her new best friend can keep up with her. She tends to have a bit of trouble making friends because not everyone wants to play with a wiggle butt body slamming into you, but when you have as much energy as this fun girl, thats the BEST way to play! Do you think that you (and your existing doggo, if you have one) are strong enough, both physically strong and strong willed, to be part of Reni's new family?”

Alexis

Age: 3 Months Old / Breed: Beagle / Terrier / Sex: Female / Rescue: Louie’s Legacy
”Alexis is the smallest of the Schitt's Creek gals, but don't let her 6 pounds fool you. This 3 month old beagle/terrier female is vocal and feisty. She can be found bossing her siblings around most days, waiting for belly rubs from her foster mom. Alexis loves squeaky toys, being held like a baby, and is the social butterfly of the crew. She can be a bit of a diva, but that is what makes her so lovable. She follows her big foster sibling dog around and has no fear when it comes to playing with him. Alexis is working on her use of puppy pads and due to her small nature, tends to need to use the bathroom a bit more often. Alexis will be a great addition for any home who is looking for a spunky gal with a lot of love to give. Alexis' adoption fee is $400.”
