[PHOTOS] Inside University of Cincinnati’s Crushing Loss to Texas Tech

After a needed two-win week for the University of Cincinnati men’s basketball team last week, the Bearcats played host to the Red Raiders of Texas Tech on Tuesday night. Despite being led by an impressive shooting night from star guard Jizzle James, his 17 points were not enough to lead UC to a victory. JT Toppin of Texas Tech filled it up for the Red Raiders with 20 points on 9/15 from the field, leading Tech to an 81-71 victory over UC. This is a frustrating loss for the Bearcats, since the team began to find some footing last week, rattling off two wins after the difficult start to conference play. That momentum was not enough, though, as another poor night shooting from three-point range significantly hurt the Bearcats, and Tech held on for victory late in the game.
