DCCH Music and Arts Festival

DCCH Music and Arts Festival

Food, handmade crafts and games galore comprise the first annual DCCH Music and Arts Festival. Stop by for two days of fun for an excellent cause; 100 percent of net proceeds benefit children living at the DCCH Center for Children and Families, which helps rebuild the lives of children with traumatic, behavioral and emotional difficulties. Order snacks from food trucks and enjoy traditional treats. Bring a blanket along for family-friendly musical acts.

Friday night is Family Night — stop by DCCH’s historic barn for face painting and glitter and an appearance by MadCap puppets. Caricatures, sand art, classic midway rides and more await young festival-goers. Grown-ups can grab a drink at the Craft Beer Garden featuring Rivertown Brewing Company and Kentucky Ale. Festivities continue Saturday with more music and crafts. Pick up upcycled pieces and local indie wares at The Craft Barn (perfect for Etsy lovers).

5 p.m.-midnight Friday; 2 p.m.-midnight Saturday. Free ($5 parking). 75 Orphanage Road, Fort Mitchell, Ky., 859-331-2040, dcchcenter.org.
