After Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s executive order to shut bars and restaurant dining rooms to the public, many have been finding creative and digital solutions to reach their customers.
And Urban Artifact now has a way to get beer delivered to your door.
The Northside brewery has launched its online beer store and is offering $14.99 flat rate shipping (in Ohio) for orders over $60.
“Due to the developments of COVID-19 over the last several weeks, we are opening the store much sooner than expected. You will now be able to go to our Merch store and browse over 30 Urban Artifact favorites and have them shipped directly to your house or pick them up in the taproom,” says an email blast. “At checkout, you will be able to choose between the option to either have your beer shipped to you…or pickup your order in our taproom for free.”
Beers have been staff-selected and include spontaneously fermented Dino brews, Midwest Fruit Tart variants, Epicurean beers and even mixed four packs.
If you do have your beer shipped, someone over the age of 21 needs to be home to sign for the order.
Current Urban Artifact carry-out hours are 4-8 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and noon-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
