The summer just got a little sweeter: New ice cream shop Aubrey + Zach’s opened in Westwood Friday.
The shop is adjoined to W Bar + Bistro on Epworth Avenue in Westwood’s Business District. A grand opening celebration was held Friday morning.
Aubrey + Zach’s menu features ice cream, as well as milkshakes, with flavors ranging from the classic Dutch Chocolate and Old Tyme Vanilla to the less conventional, like Cold Brew Coffee, Peach, Sea Salt Caramel Toffee and one called “Superfriends.”
The shop can also make sundaes, including a banana split and Zach’s Big Guy Buckeye – Buckeye ice cream topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles and a cherry.
Or, get a slushie from their Slush Puppie machine – you can even make it a little boozy by adding a shot or two. And for an extra $1, you can get it in a special cup that allows you to walk around Westwood’s DORA with it.
Aubrey + Zach’s Ice Cream is open Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
