A new music and networking event launching in Newport this January will offer a space for creative professionals across a variety of artistic disciplines to connect and inspire new collaborations.

Moonlight by the Levee will be held on Friday, Jan. 23 at Southgate House Revival. This hybrid event is part concert, part creative mixer and part community-building. Before and after the music, attendees — ranging from musicians, bookers, talent buyers, photographers, videographers, dancers and other creative professionals — will have the opportunity to connect with each other.

“There’s so much artistic talent here by the River,” organizer Nicki Sage said in a press release. “This format gives people a chance to meet the artists behind the work, discover new collaborators and build relationships that can shape future projects.”

The musical lineup blending pop, soul, alt-rock and roots/country reflects the vibrant music scene throughout Greater Cincinnati, adds Sage. The night will feature four performances:

  • Sage and her pop/alt-pop band Numin Tribe
  • Soul singer-songwriter Meaghan Richardson
  • Alt-rock outfit Evening Redness
  • Roots and country artist Scott Picton

Moonlight by the Levee is open to those 18 and older. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 pre-sale and $18 at the door. VIP packages are available, and you can purchase tickets here
