At a time when queer rights are under attack even more than usual—for example, Ohio trying to criminalize public drag performances with HB249—it’s never been more crucial to celebrate Pride Month in every way, shape and form.
At CityBeat, we’ve already written plenty this year about Cincinnati’s biggest queer events and how the Queen City has always been one of America’s gayest cities, because Pride should be celebrated year-round and not just in June. But Pride Month is when it’s time for our community to really show out and be as fabulous as possible.
