Four days of experimental, boundary-pushing music await Cincinnatians this fall with the return of the Talk Low Festival.

Hosted at various concert venues across downtown and Over-the-Rhine, Talk Low has become the region’s premier experimental music festival by bringing world-class musicians to Cincinnati who claim space between multiple disciplines, genres and identities.

Last year’s Talk Low was the biggest yet, thanks to a headlining performance from the rap group Clipping (which features Daveed Diggs of “Hamilton” fame as its frontman). This year, the festival touts the internationally-known Icelandic electronic band múm, popular experimental rapper Pink Siifu, and Croz Boyce—a new project from the members of legendary pop-rock band Animal Collective—as the headliners.

Talk Low 2026 will take place from Thursday, September 24 through Sunday, September 27 at the Woodward Theater, the Contemporary Arts Center and Christ Church Cathedral.

The festival is organized by Cincinnati-based record label Whited Sepulchre Records founder and Executive Director Ryan Hall, Britni Bicknaver and concertnova Executive Director Brianna Matzke. In a statement, the group says their mission is “to create unique contexts that foster deep listening and opportunities for collaboration and education.”
