Newport’s 27 Kitchen + Bar reopened this July with refreshed look and new concept, while still holding on to some of the same popular recipes diners had grown to love.
The neighborhood restaurant is a fast-casual dining spot with a full bar, offering a petite menu of affordable dishes and drinks that feature a variety of flavors for every diner. Guests order, pay and pick up from the kitchen window. A play on the restaurant’s name, all entrees cost $7, with $2 add on items like tater tots, avocado, pulled pork or bacon. The eatery offers a dinner and brunch menu with 12 items between the two. Menu items include their signature shrimp and grits, vanilla bourbon French toast, gourmet grilled cheese and build your own tacos.
Guests can head to the bar for soda, coffee, espresso and, of course, spirits. They offer a wide selection of bourbon and craft beer as well as a list of signature cocktails which range in price from $6-$10.
27 Kitchen + Bar is located at 270 Monmouth St. and is open 5-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday.
