In a recent press conference, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow claimed that “there’s not a lot to do in Cincinnati.”
Burrow was responding to questions about how the team was faring during this most recent spike of COVID-19 cases. He claims the team hasn’t been going out much because Cincinnati’s nightlife leaves a lot to be desired.
Cincinnati Enquirer Bengals writer Ben Baby tweeted out this response, and some people are not happy, while others seem to agree.
Baby laments that after the reaction on Twitter, Burrow, who is known for being a little dry during interviews, "isn't going to say anything fun until next season."
Burrow says "fortunately, there's not a lot to do in Cincinnati," which has helped the Bengals from going out and contracting COVID-19.
