This holiday season, Sharonville’s Heritage Village Museum offers a jam-packed lineup of events, perfect for family outings, time with friends, date nights or a treat-yourself evening.

Looking to take a trip back in time this holiday season? Check out Heritage Village’s 19th Century Guided Tours and take a journey through the village and eight historic buildings to see the evolution of Christmas celebrations over the years. This year, the 19th Century Guided Tour will feature an intricate model train display. The tours take place every hour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Dec. 4-6 and 11-13. Admission is $12 per person, or $10 per person for museum members.

Nothing says ‘tis the season quite like dazzling lights, and Heritage Village’s Holly & Hearth Nights are bringing just that. Explore the village aglow and the buildings that are decorated to resemble a 19th century Christmas. Guests can also enjoy their time at the village with hot cocoa and Christmas cookies. Holly & Hearth Nights take place on Dec. 5, 6, 12 and 13 from 6-8 p.m.

Celebrate the holiday season on the prairie with Heritage Village’s Holly Day, on Dec. 14 from noon-4 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature a Little House on the Prairie-inspired holiday celebration with treats, craft-making, music and an original play based on the Little House on the Prairie books. Additionally, kids will have a chance to share their Christmas wishes with Mother Christmas. Admission is $12 per adult, $8 for children 4-11, and free for members and children under 3.

The holidays can be a bustling time of year, and Heritage Village is offering you a chance to enjoy festive activities this Christmas in a sensory-friendly and calm environment. Quiet Days, taking place on Dec. 18, 19 and 20 every half-hour between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Visitors will have a private half-hour session at the village and can meet Santa, enjoy snacks, make crafts and more. Reservations for Quiet Days must be made ahead of time on heritagevillagecincinnati.org, and costs $25 per group of up to 8 people.

Heritage Village’s Train Days is the perfect kid-friendly afternoon activity. Guests can watch model trains chug through villages, explore train layouts from the Cincinnati Railway Society and LEGO trains, and participate in activities like Morse code, North Pole hotline, trading cards and more. Admission to Train Days is $5 per person with members and children under 4 are free. Train Days take place on Dec. 15 from noon-2 p.m. and Dec. 18, 19, 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
