Cincinnati Public Schools is once again hosting a jazz festival for the ages.

In partnership with KidFuture, the district is presenting the 6th Annual CPS International Jazz Festival this Saturday at the Aronoff Center.

The festival will showcase student musicians from across the district. Internationally acclaimed jazz trombonist Robin Eubanks will also perform.

The event lasts all day and no ticket is required. Thirteen elementary school students will perform in the CPS Elementary Variety Show at 3 p.m., a panel on the history of jazz in Cincinnati will take place at 5 p.m., and the Cincinnati Jazz Academy Ensemble will hit the stage at 7 p.m.

The evening’s final concert is “the culmination of a full day of music, learning and celebration highlighting the creativity of Cincinnati Public Schools students and professional artist Eubanks,” according to a statement released by CPS.
