A series of French films and discussion sessions will return to Northern Kentucky University in March and April.
The films will be brought to the campus thanks to a partnership between Albertine Cinémathèque of French Films, as well as NKU’s Cinema Studies, English and World Languages & Literatures programs. Albertine Cinémathèque is a program funded by the French government through the Villa Albertine and the Albertine Foundation to provide grant funding to universities to showcase French cinema.
“We have chosen six films that represent the diversity of modern French film, in terms of style, genre and cultural focus,” NKU Professor of English Dr. John Alberti, who helped organize the festival, said. “We invite all film lovers to our campus to celebrate the continuing vitality and excitement of one of the world’s great movie cultures.”
