Calling all board game, cards and RPG enthusiasts: AdamCon, Cincinnati’s largest free board game convention, will return this January for a full weekend of fun, with some new attractions and events to enjoy.
AdamCon will be held Friday-Monday, Jan. 16-19 at the Woodlawn Community Center. At the convention, guests can play from over 400 games in the game library and take part in a variety of events. There will also be food vendors selling snacks, drinks and meals.
New in 2026, the convention will offer giant-scale versions of fan-favorite board games and a dedicated video game zone with arcade machines, retro systems and modern consoles. There is also a new cosplay component, with a judged competition open to all ages.
AdamCon 2026 will offer a big lineup of tournaments, and competitive players can join multiple events, including an official Catan National Qualifier. It’s also the first stop on the new Tri-State Trail Tournament, which will allow players an early chance to earn points on the circuit.
AdamCon is again raising money for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital through its raffle. In 2025, the convention raised more than $28,000 for the hospital through its raffle and nearly $67,000 since 2020.
You can also donate to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital through AdamCon’s Extra Life profile here if you are unable to make the convention but still want to donate.
AdamCon runs from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday and Sunday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.
