July 20 is National Ice Cream Day, and to commemorate the occasion, local ice cream parlor Aglamesis Bro’s will once again host its National Ice Cream Day Poster Contest.

This will be the fifth year for the contest. Aglamesis says it’s excited to continue the tradition of collaborating with artists to create unique posters celebrating all things Aglamesis, Cincinnati and ice cream. A selection committee will choose the winning design, which will be printed on a limited-edition run of posters. Those will be released on July 20 and sold at all Aglamesis stores while supplies last.

Contestants will be judged on three criteria: visual impact of the design, the unique identity of the poster and incorporation of the themes of Cincinnati, Aglamesis and National Ice Cream Day.

The winner will receive $300, a copy of their poster and an Aglamesis gift basket. Their name will also be printed on all posters of their design.
