Enjoy a six-course meal and a unique wine pairing from two up-and-coming Cincinnati culinary stars at Newport’s The Baker’s Table.

Chef Jordan Anthony-Brown and sommelier Chis O’Hearn will be serving a prix fixe menu with optional wine pairing Thursday, Dec. 16 through Saturday, Dec. 18.

Anthony-Brown is currently working on opening his Walnut Hills restaurant, The Aperture. This Mediterranean culinary experience located in the Paramount Square building is focused on food “anchored by simplicity and balance.”

Parcel Wines, a concept created by O’Hearn, will be offering the wine pairing for this one-weekend dinner. O’Hearn writes on Parcel Wine’s website that it is focused on “bringing together the tangible and intangible by connecting the wines we love with the people and places we love.” The title invokes two definitions of parcel, one being the unique parcels of land every bottle of wine comes from and the second being a wrapped gift received from “a faraway land.”

The Baker's Table, which opened in 2018, quickly became a favorite for their locally-sourced ingredients and made-from-scratch dishes — and the word got out quickly. In 2019, the eatery was recognized by both Eater.com and USA Today as one of the best new restaurants in America.

The dinner is priced at $100 with a $55 optional wine pairing. Make your reservation at resy.com. A credit card is required for reservations.

The Baker's Table is located at 1004 Monmouth St., Newport. Find more information at bakerstablenewport.com.
