Clifton's Burnet Woods to Host Free Cincy VegFest This Weekend

The one-day, family-friendly event is devoted to vegan bites and food demos, film screenings, educational speakers, live music and yoga.

Cincy VegFest returns to the Burnet Woods Bandstand in Clifton this weekend (Aug. 28) for a day devoted to plant-based living. 

The event is free and family-friendly, and will celebrate vegan lifestyle with "world-class" bites and food demos, film screenings, educational speakers, live music and yoga. 

Cincy VegFest kicks off at 10:45 a.m. with yoga for children with K.C. Kless of Cincinnati's Imagination Yoga and wraps up at 7 p.m.

10:45-11:15 a.m. — Yoga for Children with K.C. Kless

11:15 a.m.-noon — World Peace Yoga with Anna Ferguson

12:15-12:45 p.m. — Music for Children with David Kisor of Growing Sound

1:00-1:30 p.m. — Food Demo with Moksha Sommer of HuDost

1:45-2:45 p.m. — Music with Wonky Tonk

3:15-3:45 p.m. — Food Demo with Alex Nager of Harmony Plant Fare

4:15-5:45 p.m. — Music with HuDost

6:00-6:30 p.m. — Music with Nicholas Radina

The event returned after seven years in 2019; organizers planned to make it an annual occurrence, however last year it was held virtually due to the pandemic. 

Food will be available as free samples or by purchase from vendors including ESSEN Kitchen, Harmony Plant Fare, Seedside Bakery, Foodies Vegan, Coconutz Ice Cream and more. 

Retail vendors include Harm Less Threads, A to Z Candles, Body Eclectic Skin Care and Hummingbird Healing and other shoppables.
