You don’t need to buy a plane ticket to drink around the world this summer. Just grab a travel buddy or fly solo down to downtown Cincinnati for the globetrotting adventure of the second-annual “Around the World Bar Crawl.”

The Around the World Bar Crawl will take place across 10 bars and restaurants at The Banks on Saturday, Aug. 2 from noon to 5 p.m. Each bar will transform into a different country, including themed cocktails and decor. Participants can visit each “country” solo or with a partner and can travel from bar to bar trying drinks and taking on minute-to-win-it games at each stop.

You’ll also get a passport that can be stamped at each location to enter to win grand prizes. The more stamps you get, the more chances you have to win.

Participating bars and restaurants include:

  • AC Upper Deck

  • Fishbowl at The Banks

  • Holy Grail Tavern & Grille

  • Jefferson Social

  • Killer Queen

  • Moerlein Lager House

  • The Park

  • Red Leprechaun

  • The Stretch

  • Tin Roof

There are two tiers of tickets this year. For $50 per person, you get five world-class cocktails at any of the venues, swag, entry to raffles and more. The $75 tier will get you 11 cocktails, plus everything else. The proceeds will go toward Parkinson’s disease research at the University of Cincinnati and UC Health’s Sunflower Rev It Up for Parkinson’s symposium. You can get your tickets here.

Check-in for the bar crawl begins at 11 a.m. at The Stretch (191 E. Freedom Way). A post-competition party will follow the bar crawl at 5 p.m.
