There are now two new options for diners visiting Madisonville food hall Element Eatery.

Zaria Street Eats and BrewRiver Sandwich Shop opened at the food hall on Saturday. Zaria serves up hearty and healthy Italian dishes, while BrewRiver Sandwich Shop — an extension of BrewRiver Creole Kitchen in the East End — offers chef-driven, scratch-kitchen food. Both concepts already have a presence at Element Eatery and their owners say they’re excited to expand their offerings.

“We’ve enjoyed having a Four Mile Pig location at Element Eatery and are looking forward to opening a new venture at the food hall,” Zaria owner Robert Viox said in a press release.

The Italian street food concept offers a menu of hand-rolled piadas, including the “Spence,” featuring grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil and arugula tossed with a white balsamic citrus vinaigrette. There are also savory pasta dishes, like the spicy diavolo option, as well as a chopped cheeseburger served on a hoagie roll.

BrewRiver moved from Sonder Brewing to the food hall, bringing many guest favorites with it. The menu features offerings like the Streetcar Smash Burger, a buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich and a chicken shawarma wrap, as well as house-made beer cheese and soft pretzels and kimchi beer cheese nachos. BrewRiver also offers a selection of vegetarian and gluten-free options.

“We are so excited to bring another fantastic concept to the Element Eatery restaurant family,” BrewRiver co-owners Joby Bowman and chef Michael Shields said in the release.

Element Eatery has also brought on a new general manager. Michael Hoffert has 20 years of hospitality experience and has worked for big-name brands like Hard Rock International, Dream Hotel Group and Universal. He says his vision for the future of the food hall includes more diverse dining options that appeal to friends and families looking for a fun and relaxed way to meet up.

“Stepping into the role of general manager for our property, my biggest goal is to create dynamic and unforgettable experiences that reflect the energy and spirit of the city,” Hoffert said in the release. “We aim to highlight the diverse culinary landscape of Cincinnati with offerings that cater to various tastes in a very relaxed atmosphere”

Element Eatery says with the addition of Hoffert and his team, it will be hosting themed events and partnerships with both local and national brands in the near future.
