The wait is over for brunch lovers in Mt. Lookout: After a two-year wait, HangOverEasy officially opened its doors at 1000 Delta Ave. on Thursday.
This is the sixth Ohio location for the popular restaurant and bar known for its tongue-in-cheek menu and boozy drinks and the second in Cincinnati, the first opening in Corryville in 2014. On The Fly Hospitality, which owns HangOverEasy, says the new Mt. Lookout restaurant will showcase an updated guest experience with new decor and expanded menu options.
“We’re thrilled to be expanding our presence in Cincinnati, and the location in Mt. Lookout is a perfect opportunity for us to jump into a new part of the community and refresh our brand,” Scott McCrary, director of Brand Engagement & Strategic Relations at On The Fly Hospitality, said in a press release. “With this opening, our team focused on creating a more refined ambiance that aligns with the playfulness of the brand and caters to a different audience than our location in Clifton. This gives us the chance to try some new things and see how it resonates with guests.”
The menu at HangOverEasy will differ from Corryville and other locations, with half the menu featuring dishes available at all locations and the other half being new options only available in Mt. Lookout. The restaurant will serve as a test kitchen for new dishes and beverages, with HangOverEasy slowly rolling out at other locations depending on performance.
