CityBeat: What’s the last great meal you ate and where did you eat it?
Kim Marcus: I don’t eat out! My husband and I started a vegan/partial raw diet last week for health reasons. We make hummus, eggplant dip, make pita sandwiches and eat a lot of salads. The only thing we cook is soup. My husband made a great vegetable chili with lots of cumin.
CB: Is it difficult to be around food all day and not eat it?
KM: Yes! I ran pumpkin pancakes last week and it was pretty difficult. My husband and I watched a DVD recently about raw food diets. They call themselves raw foodists. It’s pretty amazing. We’re going to re-evaluate the diet in six weeks. My husband is having a harder time than I am!
