After a half-a-century in their former home, the eatery is moving down the street. The upside? More parking.

Original building and distance to new location

The original Blue Ash Chili location will soon be a memory. But fear not, folks, you'll just have to travel down the road a bit to find it in its new home.

After a half-a-decade in the historic space, the chili parlor, located at the corner of Kenwood and Cooper roads, has announced it will be moving.

Although reps from the company have stated that they're sad to leave the current historic building where Blue Ash Chili has been located for over 50 years, loyal customers will love that there will be more parking and more space at the new location -- all the better for enjoying the famous Cincinnati delicacy we call chili.

According to a recent Facebook post, the properties on the corner of Kenwood and Cooper -- including the Blue Ash Chili building -- were all sold for redevelopment, and Blue Ash Chili says the circumstances were beyond its control.

The new location will be next door to the CVS Pharmacy just one minute away. “The Blue Ash community is so important to who we are, we can’t imagine our flagship store not being in the heart of Blue Ash,” says the Facebook post.

Operations at the new location will begin by the end of March.

Blue Ash Chili is famous not only for its Cincinnati-style chili served over noodles, hot dogs, or french fries, but also for its double-decker sandwiches, burgers, and casual diner atmosphere.

Guy Fieri, star of Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives,” visited Blue Ash Chili in 2010. In 2017, the restaurant was once again visited by camera crews for Food Network’s food challenge series “Ginormous Food”, hosted by Josh Denny.
