Over-the-Rhine arcade bar 16-Bit Bar+Arcade will be joining forces with another entertainment drinking destination this month, as the establishment moves into Main Street’s Pins Mechanical Company.
The two bars are under the management of Columbus-based Rise Brands, which also has locations in Nashville, Charlotte, Indianapolis and other regions.
16-Bit made the announcement via a Facebook post on April 6, stating that after six years at its Walnut Street location, “the time has come to bring the family together under one rooftop patio.”
Pins Mechanical Co. opened its Cincinnati location in fall of 2018, complete with three bars, duckpin bowling, vintage pinball machines, ping pong, foosball and a rooftop patio with even more fun.
According to the Facebook post, 16-Bit will host its last day at its Walnut Street location on Sunday, April 11 and will be offering half-priced draft beer and merch from noon until midnight.
16-Bit Bar+Arcade will merge with Pins Mechanical Co. on April 14.
Pins Mechanical Co. is located at 1124 Main St., Over-the-Rhine.
