The dynamic team behind Cincinnati restaurant group Ignite Entertainment is breathing life into the former Eighth & English space in O'Bryonville this fall.

Taking inspiration from his heritage, Ignite founder Juan Imeroni is opening Pampas Argentine Gastropub, a new eatery that offers an approachable taste of the Argentine countryside. The ambiance will reportedly blend the culture and flavors of two of his other local establishments: Che and Butcher and Barrel.

Chef Patrick Bowling — formerly of Jean-Robert's Table and Restaurant L — will be at the helm of the new eatery, bringing his knowledge and experience of the restaurant industry both nationally and locally.

Starting Dec. 4, Pampas will be open for limited dine-in hours 4-9 p.m. on weekends, and will also offer carry-out and delivery. The restaurant plans to eventually add more expansive hours.

"This model introduces the concept to the community slowly to build a relationship with the neighborhood, and also allows the business to retain already hired staff during these uncertain times by giving the team an opportunity to maintain hours and familiarize themselves within the space," reads a press release from Ignite Entertainment.

Reservations are not required, but are recommended as the restaurant is operating at a reduced capacity.

“We didn’t expect to open like this, but it’s 2020, so nothing is normal,” said Imeroni. "We want to keep everyone we’ve hired working, and give them the opportunity to get acquainted with this kitchen and space. We hope that with the support of the neighborhood this holiday, we’ll build some excitement for what’s to come.”

Prior to opening for dine-in, Pampas is offering a Thanksgiving special for carry-out — either for "heat and eat" or "ready to eat."

The meals are now available for pre-order online. For those interested in the "heat and eat" option, the order will be available for pick-up on Wednesday, Nov. 25. For those opting for the "ready to eat" meal, it can be picked up on Thanksgiving Day.

The meals are family-style and ordered by volume of guests. The cost is $30 per person.

Pampas Argentine Gastropub is located at 2038 Madison Road in O'Bryonville.
