A new concept focusing on wine, small plates and gatherings is coming to East Price Hill.
Julie Dowty, the owner of event catering and planning business Around the Table Cincy and the founder of the long-running Vine & Dine event series, has signed a lease for the former Somm Wine Bar space at 3105 Price Ave. She says she wants to reimagine the building as a modern neighborhood venue that will also offer space for private events and experiences, extending Around the Table Cincy’s mission beyond catering to a physical space that celebrates food, creativity and community.
“The Incline District is evolving, and there’s incredible potential here. All the right elements are in place, and I’m excited to bring new energy to a neighborhood that’s ready for its next chapter,” Dowty said in a press release. “We’re creating a place where people can gather, relax and feel connected through food, collaboration and conversation.”
Dowty adds that the new business will complement the neighborhood’s existing restaurants and cultural attractions.
“The Incline District has always been special to me — it’s where I grew up, raised my family and built lifelong connections. KB Partners has worked hard to bring new life to this area while preserving its character, and Around the Table represents exactly the kind of investment we envisioned — a business that adds warmth, creativity and connection to a neighborhood on the rise,” said Tom Koopman, the CEO of the property’s developer, KB Partners.
The renovation will update the restaurant to support private events, tasting dinners, small-plate service and private chef experiences, but it will also preserve the intimate interior and iconic patio Somm was known for. The menu will offer chef-driven small plates and a curated selection of wine.
The final details on the venue’s name, opening date and programming will be announced in early 2026. Dowty is working with local creative agency Good Human Bad Robot on branding and marketing for the new concept.
