A new kind of bar with high vibes is now open in Northern Kentucky.
The Green Door is Greater Cincinnati’s first cannabis-infused dry bar, offering an alcohol-free experience with handcrafted THC mocktails, kava infusions and adaptogenic spritzers, as well as THC-free options. The bar was created by the team behind Kentucky Botanicals Co. and is located at 5 E. Eighth St. in Covington.
The team says The Green Door offers an inclusive and elevated alternative to traditional nightlife that puts wellness, connection and creativity first.
“We wanted to create something indulgent but mindful — where every drink is an experience and every night out leaves you feeling amazing,” Christian Perry-Watt, founder of The Green Door, said in a press release.
On the menu, you’ll find Bespoke Beverages that can be infused with THC, CBD, adaptogens or kava, like the soft, floral “That Lavender Haze” (blueberry, lavender and citrus) or sweet and sultry “The Spicy Mock-arita” (mango, citrus and habanero). Or you can try a mocktail like the “Not Gin + Tonic” or “Whiskey-ish + Soda.” The Green Door’s menu also features chilled, ready-to-sip drinks like the Coastalo THC seltzer (cherry cola, grape and red cream soda), kava seltzers like Psychadelic Water (250mg) or Leilo (1,000 mg). Inside, The Green Door’s space is moody and modern, fusing Art Deco glamor and Art Nouveau curves. In addition to its zero-proof drinks, the bar also hosts live music, DJs, wellness workshops and community events.
The bar is open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 1-8 p.m. and Friday and Satuday from 5-11 p.m., but the team says expanded hours are coming soon.
