As part of Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s Responsible RestartOhio plan, restaurant and bars are permitted to open their outdoor dining spaces starting May 15. And restaurants are chomping at the bit to welcome guests back to their establishments. These Greater Cincinnati dining and drinking destinations are opening up their patios this weekend, with COVID-19 precautions in place, to offer their guests the culinary experience they’ve missed in a safe manor.

Incline Public House
2601 Eighth St. W., East Price Hill
Incline Public House, located in East Price Hill’s Incline District, is opening its patio at 11 a.m. on Friday, offering impeccable views of the Cincinnati skyline. No reservations are available.

309 Vine St., Floor 10, Downtown
The View at Shires Garden looks forward to serving guests at its outdoor dining space beginning at 3:30 p.m. on May 15. Dinner service will take place from 4-10 p.m. and will be open later for cocktail service. On May 16, the restaurant will serve brunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., lunch from 2-4 p.m. with cocktail service and dinner from 4-11 p.m. On May 17, brunch and lunch will be served during the same hours and dinner will be served from 4-10 p.m. Reservations are highly encouraged, but are not required.

BrewDog Cincinnati is beyond stoked to reopen its patio and rooftop on May 15 and will offer its full food and draft menu. In order to ensure the health and safety of employees and guests, BrewDogs hours have changed to 11 a.m.-8 p.m. daily and reservations via cincinnatibar@brewdog.com are highly encouraged.

Argentinian eatery Che is on its way to reopening its doors to the public. Starting 4 p.m. on Friday, May 15, the cozy outdoor patio will be ready for patrons. Che encourages guests to make reservations to avoid large crowds gathering while waiting for a table. Tuesdays and Thursdays will continue to be carry-out only from 4-9 p.m.

One of the Queen Citys most popular summertime barbecue spots is opening its pavilion on Friday. They have spaced out the picnic tables to ensure social distancing and will be open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

This Over-the-Rhine Italian eatery is opening their socially distant outdoor dining space on May 15 and have begun taking reservations. They will be using disposable menus, conducting wellness screenings for their employees and providing hand sanitizer to all guests.

La Ofrenda’s patio will be open with limited seating beginning on May 16. Theyre offering a selection of margaritas, cocktails, tamales and tequilas to-go on a first-come, first-served basis that can be enjoyed on the patio or for carry-out.

This Fairfax craft distillery and restaurant plans to open its patio on Friday, and has a 10 guidelines in place in order to ensure guests health and safety, including no more than 10 guests per party, temperature checks and maintaining a distance of six feet from other guests.

This Northern burbs brewery kicked off patio season as soon as they were legally permitted to. March First opened their doors at midnight on May 15 through 2:30 a.m., and will be open for their regular hours moving forward. Opened in the spring of 2017, the neighborhood establishment serves approachable brews, ciders, hard seltzers and spirits.

Known for its expansive outdoor riverside seating, this West Side favorite plans to reopen on May 15, though its volleyball courts will remain closed and live music will be placed on hold. Still, enjoy the fresh air with classic bar-and-grill favorites with a beautiful view.

Mecklenburg Gardens will reopen on May 15. To commemorate the grand reopening, the nationally ranked Bier Garten will host a happy hour from 3-6 p.m. During happy hour, all drinks and appetizers will be offered at half price.

Little Miami Brewerys newly constructed patio will be open for guests at 10 a.m. on May 15. The new patio began construction in the winter and is now ready for guests of the popular Milford brewery to enjoy craft beer and pizza while overlooking the Little Miami River.
