Eclectic Texas trio Khruangbin has added dates to its current tour, and one of those stops is in Cincinnati.
The band will play the Andrew J. Brady Music Center on Friday, April 29. Toro Y Moi opens.
Tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.com and bradymusiccenter.com.
Khruangbin — which refers to its sound as a blend of "Reggae Dub, Surf Rock, Southeast Asian Funk and Middle Eastern Soul" in a release — has new music slated to drop this month. The forthcoming EP, a collaborative project with Leon Bridges, will be released on Feb. 18.
Called Texas Moon (Bridges was born in Fort Worth and Khruangbin originated in Houston), the work "pensively examines Texas’ musical perception, while paying homage to the marriage of Country and R&B that’s become synonymous with the Lonestar State," says a release.
